This underdog has made the jump from relatively obscure video game character to assist trophy to full-blown playable character. Little Mac is in the house!

Special Moves[]

  • Neutral Special Move:Strong Punch

Description: Similar to Donkey Kong's Giant Punch.

  • Side Special Move:Dash Punch

Description: Little Mac dashes forward and connects with a punch.

  • Up Special Move:Uppercut

Description: Little Mac does an uppercut. Unfortunately, this can't be used as a recovery move. Little Mac, despite being famous, doesn't have any superhuman powers I'm sorry to say.

  • Down Special Move:Gut Punch

Description: Strictly a close-range move. Little Mac punches an opponent in the gut. He will never hit below the belt.

  • Final Smash:Knock Out Punch

Description: Little Mac dashes forward (similar to the dashing motion of Marth's Critical Hit) and punches the first opponent he finds. It would be the only final smash, other than Marth's Critical Hit, that's a guaranteed KO if it connects. (Despite popular belief, it is possible to survive Link's Triforce Slash).

Snake Codec Message[]

Snake:"Looks like this guy got lost on the way to the boxing ring."

Colonel:"That's Little Mac, he's from the Punch Out games."

Snake:"A boxing game? How's he gonna stand up against things like Fireballs and Swords?"

Colonel:"He's fast and agile, he might just be fast enough to dodge all those attacks."

Snake:"Man, this game really does attract all kinds."

Fighting against Little Mac[]

Fighting Little Mac isn't difficult to figure out. Keep your distance and if you have to get in close, make it quick and strong. Also, don't be afraid to take advantage of the fact that Little Mac doesn't have a true recovery move.
