AiAi is the first newcomer in Super Smash Bros Xtra released on the Super Nintendo Switch.
Moveset
Basic Attacks
Jab: Shockwave
Makes a small shockwave from the ball as AiAi moves his right hand forward. Rapidly press five times for a combo that ends with a blast. Does 2.5 damage. Combo does 7.2 damage.
Side Tilt: Side Shockwave
Does the same as before but with further range. Deals 1.7 damage.
Up Tilt: Up Shockwave
Same as Jab but upwards. And AiAi moves his left arm. Deals 6.0 damage.
Down Tilt: Down Shockwave
Same as Up Tilt but downwards. Deals 5.7 damage.
Grabs
Grab: Holds opponent/item through opening of monkey ball. If opponent, AiAi does some monkey kicks on them. Each deals 1.2 damage.
Forward Throw: Shoot item/opponent out of banana cannon; built in the monkey ball! Deals 12.0 damage to opponents.
Backward Throw: Exact same as Forward Throw.
Smash Attacks
Neutral Smash: Monkey See, Monkey Fu!
Opening appears in ball and AiAi throws out a monkey punch. Hold or rapidly press for a combo move that ends in a mega monkey kick with a high knockback. Deals 5.6 damage for each monkey punch and monkey kick deals 12.9 damage. He goes in his ninja suit from Super Monkey Ball: Step and Roll when using this attack.
Side Smash: Monkey Roll
Blasts ball forward into opponents, similar to Bowser Jr.'s Side Special.
Up Smash: Ball Bounce
Bounces the Monkey ball in the air and slams back down.
Down Smash: Butt Bump
Bumps booty out of opening of ball. Does 8.5 damage.
Special Attacks
Neutral Special: Banana Bash
Bashes opponents with huge banana threw the opening of the ball. Deals 11.0 damage.
Side Special: Ski Skill
Transforms Monkey Ball into a powerful ski that glides forward. 11.8 damage.
Side Aerial: Hang Glide
Transforms Monkey Ball into a powerful hangglider that glides forward and floats around slowly until hits the ground. Deals 9.7 damage.
Up Special: Hot Air Balloon
Transforms Monkey Ball into a hot air balloon that floats upwards for up to six seconds. Deals 6.2 damage.
Down Special: Melon Bowling
Bowls a melon threw the opening on the monkey ball. Charge for extra damage. Regular deals 16.3 damage with high knockback. Charge does 24.8 damage with very high knockback.
Down Aerial: Melon Tossing
Throw a melon downwards massively knocking them back. Deals 23.4 damage.
Final Smash
Space Alien Pirate King: Dashes AiAi forward and anyone that gets hit moves into the cinematic. The opponents land on a banana blitz island. They then get both clawed and swiped by the Space Baboon launching them away. Space Alien Pirate King then roars at the screen. Deals 67.9 damage and severe knock back. Insta-Death when over 120%.
